Students Show Well at Annual Youth Photography Showcase (Pictures)

The Youth Photography Showcase (YPS) is a local competition between high school artists. CCS has competed in YPS for years now and always does well. This year there were numerous photos from CCS awarded honorable mention and a few that placed. For this competition there are six categories: Architecture, People/Animals, Scapes, Photojournalism, Color, and Black and White.

"A Boy and the Sun" by Emily Jipping won 1st Place in People/Animals

"Clockwork" by Grace Noonan won 2nd place in People/Animals

"An Evening Out West" by Emily Jipping won 2nd Place in Scapes

"Geometric Sequences" by Ellie Holt received Honorable Mention in Architecture

"Dutch Branches" by Grace Noonan received Honorable Mention in B/W

"St. Louis" by Emily Jipping won 2nd Place in B/W

"Behold" by Alex Boggs received Honorable Mention in Architecture

"Smith Rock" by Grace Noonan received Honorable Mention in Scapes

"Ohio Lake" by Andie Stewart received Honorable Mention in B/W

"Praise" by Grace Noonan received Honorable Mention in Photojournalism
